Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze problems by gathering relevant information, using available means, obtaining additional diagnostic info if needed, and deciding on an initial approach.
  • •Handover problems or aspects to others (2nd line support) and document/package all data needed for resolution (e.g., pass-downs, work orders, field service and technical reports).
  • •Install equipment at customer locations, including inspecting components, assembling, aligning, and testing.
  • •Execute hardware installation and perform system setup/recovery for upgrade packages and support local field swaps using an up-to-date plan and sequence.
  • •Provide training and advice to users on correcting malfunctions, train customers in equipment use and routine maintenance, and coach less experienced engineers on first tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Flexibility and openness to accommodate different work settings and collaborations with colleagues across locations.
  • •BSc degree in a relevant technical field (Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • •Experienced in a technical industry is required and/or semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
  • •Experience using computer applications including data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
