Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply Zurich risk engineering solutions to construction customers to reduce losses and improve risk management outcomes.
  • •Leverage risk engineering tools and services to improve customer risk and general account management for Zurich Construction Insurance products.
  • •Deliver consultative exposure identification, evaluate risk control gaps, and develop practical risk mitigation recommendations.
  • •Conduct loss investigations (trend and root cause analysis), implement risk improvement programs, and provide risk improvement advice.
  • •Partner with Construction Underwriting and develop/present risk management training and safety plans, including QA/QC and building envelope/moisture mitigation support.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 79,600 - 172,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in Risk Engineering area, or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years in Risk Engineering area, or Zurich Certified Apprentice (Associates degree) with 3+ years in Risk Engineering.
  • •6+ (Sr.) years or 8+ years experience in Risk Engineering/Safety/Risk Management/Construction Field Operations/Engineering (depending on level).
  • •Experience working in a team environment.
  • •Relevant experience assessing risk based on LOB-specific competency standards.
  • •Advanced knowledge of construction safety, operations, quality management, and associated risks, exposures, and controls.
