Key Responsibilities

  • •Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
  • •Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels using standardized tools and protocols, including ladder climbing and attic inspections as required.
  • •Submit survey data in a timely, complete, and accurate manner using mobile field tools.
  • •Perform post-installation inspection visits to confirm installations match approved plans and meet workmanship, code, and safety standards.
  • •Collaborate with install teams and project managers to resolve inspection-related issues and help schedule inspections with the AHJ and customer.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.09 - 33.45 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience is helpful; minimum of one year of field construction experience preferred.
  • •Comfortable working on roofs using ladders and in tight or elevated spaces; must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and climb 30-foot ladders.
  • •Familiarity with basic hand tools, measuring devices, and mobile technology; excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
  • •OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.
