Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for heavy-duty gas turbine and compressor control systems, supporting product service engineering across operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proactively identify and resolve customer technical issues, investigate anomalies with root-cause analysis, and communicate assessments and solutions to customers and BH leaders. Lead technical program activities, coordinate with field and design engineering, and provide onsite support for reviews, outages, and fleet program implementations.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide timely technical solutions for heavy-duty, aero-derivative, and compressor control systems, and support motor issues in EMCC-driven trains.
•Respond to internal and external technical requests, investigate anomalies, and escalate issues as required while adhering to engineering standards and practices.
•Lead and program-manage root cause analysis and investigations, interfacing with product service, system, and design engineering teams to drive corrective actions.
•Prepare technical presentations for BH leaders and customers to communicate significant issues or developments.
•Travel to customer sites to support technical review meetings, unplanned/forced outages, sales/services technical support, and engineering oversight during planned outages and fleet program implementation.

Key Requirements

•Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent.
•Have 5–10 years’ experience in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty, aero-derivative, and compressor control systems.
•Have knowledge of MarkVI, MarkVIe, MarkVIeS, and compressor control systems, plus VFDs and motors protection.
•Be ready to travel at short notice (20–25%) and be available weekends for emergency technical support.
•Have experience in a matrix leadership environment and prior exposure to design engineering or field maintenance/customer-facing roles.
