Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide clinical social work services, including psychosocial and mental health assessments and individualized care planning.
  • •Deliver counselling, emotional support, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions with referrals.
  • •Assess and respond to suicide risk, abuse, neglect, safeguarding concerns, and other risks involving children and vulnerable individuals, including documentation.
  • •Support patients and families across high-risk populations through intervention, safety planning, follow-up, and discharge/discussion activities.
  • •Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality improvement, and specialized social work service development.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Work.
  • •DOH professional license/eligibility as a Clinical Social Worker, as applicable.
  • •Two (2) years of experience post qualification in a related field (for Non-UAE National).
  • •Conduct comprehensive psychosocial, cognitive, mental health, and social assessments.
  • •Provide evidence-based, individualized intervention and care plans, including counselling, crisis intervention, and appropriate referrals.
