Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end delivery of complex airside engineering projects from master planning and conceptual design through detailed design and construction support.
  • •Oversee geometric design for runways, taxiways, and aprons, including capacity analyses and pavement design (flexible and rigid), plus airfield lighting, markings, and signage layout.
  • •Ensure seamless integration of airside designs with landside infrastructure, terminal operations, airspace considerations, and environmental regulations.
  • •Act as Senior Engineer of Record/Technical Authority for major airfield deliverables and conduct rigorous QA/QC reviews.
  • •Mentor, train, and manage airside teams; optimize resources, budgeting, and schedule performance; support business development and proposal efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering; Master’s in Civil or Airport Engineering preferred.
  • •10 to 20 years of progressive civil engineering experience focused on airside infrastructure design and airport master planning.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent professional registration with a recognized engineering board.
  • •Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary design teams on medium-to-large hub airport expansion and greenfield airport projects internationally or regionally.
  • •Proficiency in Arabic and English.
