Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate cybersecurity controls, technology architectures, governance processes, and risk management practices to assess design adequacy and operating effectiveness.
  • •Assess cybersecurity risks tied to technology initiatives, third parties, significant changes, and emerging technologies, and monitor remediation of findings.
  • •Review evidence supporting cybersecurity control implementation and effectiveness to determine compliance with regulatory, policy, and framework requirements.
  • •Develop assurance reports, risk observations, findings, and recommendations for Information Security leadership and governance committees.
  • •Serve as a cybersecurity assurance subject matter expert during regulatory examinations, audits, and independent assessments, and support risk assurance policy/procedure activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent combined education and related work experience.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity risk management, security assurance, GRC, or related disciplines.
  • •Experience performing cybersecurity risk assessments, control evaluations, control effectiveness reviews, and assurance/compliance assessment and audit support.
  • •Experience applying cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including CRI Profile, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), FFIEC guidance, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
  • •Professional certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CGRC, CISA, CISM, Security+, CySA+, GPEN, GSEC, or equivalent certifications preferred.
