Key Responsibilities

  • •Steer and develop the “Digital Business & Partnerships” function strategically with a focus on financial controlling
  • •Own financial control for a strategically important European partner startup and advance expansion strategy with profitability, growth, and efficiency
  • •Perform financial controlling, planning, and forecasts, and provide variance analyses for a reliable decision basis
  • •Continuously analyze business development, coordinate strategy and project meetings, and produce status reports and management presentations
  • •Serve as a sparring partner to DA Direkt’s board, shape the unit’s direction, lead projects, and build relationships with internal stakeholders

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in economics or a comparable field
  • •Several years of relevant experience in controlling and financial planning/analysis with practical accounting/finance knowledge
  • •Strong data analysis skills, especially working with KPIs and an insurer’s P&L
  • •Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • •Experience managing partners and/or external investments and working in project management
