Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up core-making machines and produce shell, isocure, and pepset cores for use in foundries.
  • •Perform minor repairs, adjustments, lubrications, and machine settings to ensure proper operation and quality output.
  • •Assemble core boxes, add/replace vents and rods/nails for reinforcement, remove cores from boxes, and fill sand hoppers as directed.
  • •Clean and position cores, move them to designated areas, and place on pallets.
  • •Operate a fork truck as required; detect and report defective materials and unusual conditions; maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow 5 S’s.
