Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage daily engagement operations of the Community Outreach Office, including walk-in engagement and response coordination.
  • •Field and track concerns received via phone line, email, public meetings, and in-person interactions; coordinate concerns with the project logistics team.
  • •Serve as a visible “boots on the ground” representative for the MBTR Program, supporting issue identification and resolution in the field.
  • •Develop and implement outreach initiatives (including recurring outreach and mobile office hours) to increase stakeholder engagement and participation.
  • •Prepare outreach materials and publish routine community and commuter updates; maintain stakeholder databases and complaint logs and produce weekly/monthly engagement reporting summaries.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience in public outreach, stakeholder engagement, or community relations (preferably for infrastructure/transportation/public-sector projects).
  • •Experience developing and implementing outreach and engagement strategies.
  • •Strong written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills, including preparing flyers, newsletters, presentations, and meeting documentation.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Forms) plus Constant Contact and Salesforce; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced public-facing environment.
