Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage procurement buying processes for a set of goods, applying sourcing policy and coordinating supplier specifications and budgets.
  • •Analyze incoming demand, identify order exceptions and inventory opportunities, and align with product rationalization strategy.
  • •Drive cost-out and deflation targets through supplier negotiations, alternate supplier development, and Best Cost Region sourcing.
  • •Place and follow up purchase orders, manage supplier relationships for PO execution, update ERP, and handle problems/schedule changes.
  • •Ensure supplier performance for delivery/quality/inventory expectations, drive payment-term compliance, plan order timelines, and report schedules and costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree (or high school diploma/GED with sourcing/materials/supply chain experience).
  • •Strong experience in direct procurement within Oil and Gas/subsea or manufacturing environments.
  • •Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal/leadership ability, and the ability to work independently.
  • •Strong negotiation and contract management skills with facilitation ability.
  • •Membership or work towards membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply/APICS.
