Job Summary

Join ByteDance’s Monetization User Research team to lead strategic research that uncovers new product opportunities in the global monetization space. You’ll study user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark research, server logs, and online experiments (A/B testing). Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, and other UXRs to prioritize research, translate technical and business requirements, and communicate insights via written reports and in-person presentations.

•Lead strategic user research to identify novel product opportunities in global monetization.

•Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
•Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
•Advocate research findings through written reports and in-person presentations.

•Strong interest in user research and Internet products.
•Understand common user research methods.
•Ability to learn quickly and think/summarize effectively.
•Be able to use English as a working language.
•Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Market Research or Social Sciences (or related).
