Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft electrical design deliverables including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, and instrumentation and controls diagrams.
  • •Prepare data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports.
  • •Create conduit/cable schedules and fire alarm and communication drawings.
  • •Coordinate with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters within the same work group.
  • •Support construction and operational activities related to design outputs, including occasional field walkdowns in radiological contaminated areas.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizenship and ability to meet pre-employment requirements including physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy Department of Energy clearance requirements.
  • •Associates or higher degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience (or high school diploma and 20+ years of relevant experience).
  • •Ability to obtain a Q-clearance and maintain the required Department of Energy clearance (WSAP testing designated position).
  • •Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems.
  • •Experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
