Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers responsible for Engineering Validation Board (EVB) mechanical development.
  • •Define team priorities, project plans, and resource allocation in collaboration with Hardware Program Managers and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • •Lead mechanical design of complex EVBs including board-level mechanics, fixtures, thermal solutions, structural components, and lab infrastructure.
  • •Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) to enable efficient prototypes.
  • •Support prototype assembly, debugging, validation, and bring-up; lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for mechanical/assembly issues.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc. is an advantage).
  • •8+ years of experience in mechanical design for electronic products.
  • •4+ years of experience leading engineering teams in an R&D environment.
  • •Proven experience designing electro-mechanical systems for complex electronic hardware.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred) and mechanical integration/tolerance analysis.
