Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting final costs and sales.
  • •Prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts.
  • •Measure, value, submit, and negotiate contract variations; provide commercial and contractual advice to project staff.
  • •Prepare, submit, and negotiate project final accounts, including commercial vetting of subcontractor tenders and contracts.
  • •Ensure subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts are certified; maintain adherence to business commercial processes and support HSE initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience with 5 years of relevant quantity surveying/commercial experience.
  • •In-depth knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and budget management across project lifecycles.
  • •Proficiency in contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and handling disputes.
  • •Strong analytical skills to conduct cost analysis, prepare detailed reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying, plus a professional qualification such as CIOB or RICS.
