Key Responsibilities

  • •Define testing standards for domain teams, including required testing levels, contract test mandates, and CI deployment gates.
  • •Own cross-domain test scenarios that exercise the full transaction lifecycle across multiple domains.
  • •Lead integration of quality tooling and best practices into CI pipelines, ArgoCD GitOps workflows, and Terraform-managed infrastructure.
  • •Own programme-level performance, resilience, failover, and back-pressure testing approaches at production-scale volumes.
  • •Design parity validation to prove the new platform produces the same financial outcomes as the legacy system, including synthetic data, golden datasets, and cutover quality evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •Own programme-level quality strategy across multiple engineering teams by defining testing standards and deployment gates.
  • •Validate platform replacement/migration by proving the new system matches the legacy system at scale with equivalence criteria and comparison approaches.
  • •Have financial services domain experience across payments/acquiring/issuing or banking.
  • •Demonstrate technical literacy to read event schemas and understand data models to collaborate on testing approaches.
  • •Deliver non-functional test expertise for performance, resilience, failover, and back-pressure validation in high-throughput distributed systems.
