Job Summary

Lead GPU kernel optimization and distributed software for large-scale AI workloads, architecting and implementing multi-GPU/multi-node scaling strategies. Profile systems to maximize hardware utilization, develop performance-critical compute kernels in C++, and build benchmarking and validation infrastructure. Collaborate with stakeholders and guide agile teams across the product lifecycle to deliver optimized inference and training performance for AMD’s AI software stack.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and optimize GPU kernels to accelerate inference and training while ensuring numerical accuracy and runtime efficiency.
•Architect and implement multi-GPU and multi-node scaling strategies for distributed training/inference using model/data parallelism.
•Identify performance bottlenecks using profiling tools and propose optimizations to improve hardware utilization.
•Design and implement multi-threaded and synchronized parallel computing techniques for scalable execution on GPU architectures.
•Build benchmarking and validation infrastructure, and produce technical documentation and best-practice guidance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 3,338,160 - 4,768,800 annually

Key Requirements

•GPU kernel optimization expertise in C++ (17/20) to accelerate inference and training of large machine learning models while maintaining numerical accuracy and runtime efficiency.
•Hands-on CUDA and low-level GPU programming, including distributed AI computing across multi-GPU/multi-node environments.
•Experience profiling systems to identify bottlenecks and applying performance tuning using tools such as Nsight, VTune, and Perf.
•Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and libraries such as NCCL and MPI.
•Knowledge of AI/HPC frameworks including PyTorch, vLLM, Cutlass, and Kokkos, plus automation using Python.
