Job Summary

Senior electrical building services leadership role leading technical design on electrical systems for medium to large multi-disciplinary projects. You will manage projects and people, mentor junior engineers, build client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth within the Buildings & Property sector, including high-profile projects such as Perth Airport’s terminal design. Strong coordination across disciplines and knowledge of Australian codes are essential.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical design on electrical services, including design management, for medium to large multi-disciplinary projects.
•Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
•Act as Project Lead and manage a small team of Engineers and Drafters.
•Communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders and project teams.
•Mentor and support less experienced engineers and contribute to the development of the business unit.

Key Requirements

•Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
•Expertise in designing electrical systems for building services
•Ability to coordinate relevant building services disciplines (Hydraulic, Fire Protection, Environmentally Sustainable Design)
•Proven project experience across Infrastructure, Property & Buildings, Defence, Healthcare, Educational, and/or Mission Critical facilities
•Working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards; WA experience advantageous; registration or eligibility for registration in the relevant state
