Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of inspectors reviewing construction contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for contract compliance.
  • •Maintain defect and omission lists, and reconcile Non-Conformance Notices and Open Issues Logs.
  • •Monitor contractors’ quality programs for conformance throughout construction and notify the client of test failures and corrective actions.
  • •Oversee punchlist activities and participate in Zero Defect walkthroughs; report critical issues to the Construction Management Lead.
  • •Verify and witness tests as scheduled, check/retain test results and records, and coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Preferred: 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management.
  • •CQM or other professional certifications.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • •Ability to oversee construction quality processes and maintain quality documentation (defects, non-conformance, open issues).
