Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage electrical engineering tasks across all project phases for mining and industrial projects.
•Collaborate with clients and internal teams (mechanical, structural, process) to ensure seamless project integration and design reviews.
•Develop and optimize electrical systems (power, control, instrumentation, communications) for surface and underground mining facilities.
•Design and specify electrical reticulation systems including HV/LV distribution, substations, and charging infrastructure; review technical specs and drawings (substations, switchgear, MCCs).
•Provide technical support, identify process improvements, and develop maintenance strategies to improve reliability and efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 150,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
•8+ years of electrical engineering and design experience in a multidisciplinary team environment for heavy industries.
•Registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia or eligible for registration in British Columbia.
•Experience designing and producing engineering documents, including procurement packages, P&IDs, single line diagrams, control network diagrams, and electrical location drawings.
•Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and current industry standards (CSA, ANSI, ISA, IEEE, NFPA, IECEx).
