Job Summary

Lead a hands-on team preparing HPC and AI applications to deliver high-quality, performant execution on AMD GPU hardware. Own full system application performance attainment for Exascale-class customers, coordinating across internal stakeholders, customers, and external code owners. Drive technical content for customer RFPs and business proposals, ensure delivery of Exascale-ready applications, and continuously improve AMD development software products.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage a team of scientific domain experts, computational scientists, and performance optimization engineers to adapt and optimize HPC and AI applications for AMD hardware.
•Lead full system application performance attainment for Exascale-class customers.
•Lead and coordinate technical content for customer RFPs and business proposals.
•Drive delivery of Exascale-ready applications to AMD business units and customers.
•Interact with stakeholders to establish program requirements and schedules, and work with other AMD teams to continuously improve development software products.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 156,870 - 268,920 annually

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated track record of software team management and leading performance-focused development teams.
•Technical expertise in foundational science, computer science, computer architecture, or computational mathematics, with experience in HPC and AI software stacks.
•Experience with JIRA or similar project management environments, ideally in Agile software development.
•Hands-on leadership coordinating across organizations to deliver on-time programs and manage technical content for customer RFPs and business proposals.
•PhD (or equivalent accomplishments) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related scientific computing domains; eligible for a U.S. Department of Energy Q-level access authorization.
