Key Responsibilities

  • •Provision, configure, deploy, and tune Layer 2/3 networks (VLANs, subnets, routing, access control) across Cisco/Meraki, Dell, Juniper, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • •Maintain high-capacity links and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), monitor throughput/capacity, and resolve network bottlenecks to meet uptime targets.
  • •Automate repetitive network operations and change management using Ansible, Python, and Terraform to create reproducible workflows.
  • •Perform multi-level troubleshooting across physical, logical, and cloud edge to triage and resolve incidents, including P1/P2 events.
  • •Maintain runbooks, topology diagrams, capacity plans, and change records; partner with InfoSec on certificates/keys and firewall policy enforcement.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of hands-on enterprise, data center, or cloud network operations experience (L2/L3, VLAN, STP, BGP/OSPF, VPNs, routing, switching).
  • •Experience managing enterprise network vendors (Cisco/Meraki, Dell, Juniper) and Palo Alto firewalls, including traffic analysis and security hardening.
  • •Strong Linux networking fundamentals (bridges, bonding, iptables, namespaces) and hands-on Kubernetes networking (CNIs, service mesh, ingress).
  • •Experience with OpenStack networking and familiarity with distributed storage connectivity (e.g., Ceph).
  • •Proficiency with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
