Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage supplier deck activities: negotiate agreements, improve supplier quality, and establish purchase contracts for assigned suppliers.
  • •Develop commodity strategy and multi-year roadmaps, including supplier classifications and planning for capital, cost out, inflation, currency, and risk.
  • •Evaluate global sourcing risks/opportunities (e.g., tariffs, dumping duties, exchange rates) and support supplier selection with timely customer approvals.
  • •Lead supplier start-up activities (e.g., PPAP, trials, specification/print development when needed) and coordinate cost estimating and design parameters.
  • •Execute cost and inventory reduction projects, maintain material availability to prevent disruptions, and comply with Eaton standardized SCM processes and MESH expectations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business or a specialized degree in purchasing/logistics; MBA preferred.
  • •1-3+ years of experience in supply chain management.
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • •Knowledge of MRP/MRPII, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, and Vendor Managed Inventory.
  • •Knowledge and experience with SAP and Oracle, plus contract negotiation skills.
