Job Summary

Support supplier and internal quality activities for the Plant 4 manufacturing and engineering operations. Execute component risk assessment, manage PPAP requests and packages in Windchill, and evaluate PPAP results against engineering drawings and Trane specifications. Perform fit/form/function approvals, dimensional and functional testing reviews, and technical quality assurance inspections. Drive root cause problem-solving and maintain non-conforming material documentation through the NCM process.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute component risk assessment for new PPAP tasks to determine PPAP level requested from suppliers.
•Notify suppliers and internal peers of PPAP level and send PPAP package (PSW complete file) while handling PPAP tasks in Windchill.
•Evaluate PPAPs according to engineering drawings and Trane specifications, including dimensional and compliance checks and functional testing results.
•Perform fit, form and function activities and coordinate approval signatures with Manufacturing Engineers, Product Engineers, Production Supervisors, and SQE.
•Conduct technical quality assurance inspections and audits, participate in root cause analysis, and maintain NCM documentation and reporting updates.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree in a technical field preferred.
•Minimum 2 years of experience working in quality areas.
•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
•Familiarity with quality measurement tools, including dimensional and electrical measuring equipment.
•Ability to learn CMM and GDT (plus), with strong mechanical aptitude.
