Job Summary

Define and scale Honeywell’s enterprise Data & AI platform architecture across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments. Establish standards for lakehouse, streaming, vector databases, MLOps, and real-time inference, and create reusable patterns and governance guardrails that simplify complex platform landscapes. Lead emerging AI technology evaluation, proofs of concept, and roadmap recommendations, while driving reference architectures, architecture reviews, and mentoring across the Forge Data & AI community.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and evolve the enterprise Data & AI platform architecture spanning data, AI, and agent capabilities.
•Establish standards for lakehouse, streaming, vector databases, MLOps, and real-time inference platforms, including reusable patterns and governance guardrails.
•Evaluate emerging AI, data, agentic, and cloud technologies, lead proofs of concept, and translate findings into platform strategy and roadmap recommendations.
•Lead cloud, on-premises, edge, and hybrid platform architecture for reliability, security, latency, data residency, and cost optimization, including industrial edge AI and OT/IT integration.
•Lead the Forge Data & AI architecture community through architecture reviews, reference architectures/ADRs, partnerships, and mentoring.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on architecture experience designing production AI/ML or data platforms at enterprise scale.
•Deep experience with cloud AI and data services on at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•Ability to architect end-to-end ML systems including data pipelines, feature engineering, training, serving, monitoring, feedback loops, and governance.
•Hands-on experience with LLM and agentic systems including RAG, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and inference optimization.
•Demonstrated ability to define and apply practical, reusable architecture patterns and governance guardrails.
