Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical reviews of specialist chapters.
  • •Oversee work across project life stages, from early strategy and site identification through feasibility, optioneering, outline/detailed design, condition discharge, construction, and scheme operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards and compliance with AECOM’s quality management procedures.
  • •Use project management skills to manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • •Collaborate with integrated design teams to identify constraints, avoidance/mitigation solutions, benefits opportunities, and manage client relationships and internal supply teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods, planning legislation, and relevant consenting and licensing regimes; experience with DCO and/or TWAO is a bonus.
  • •Deliver consultancy services with strong project management skills, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Confidently engage stakeholders with excellent verbal communication, report writing, and technical review skills.
  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably at Masters level) with appropriate professional membership; Chartered Environmentalist status is advantageous.
