Job Summary

Lead the technical direction for core retail platform domains, architecting scalable, resilient, secure microservices and event-driven systems for high-throughput financial services. Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic technical leadership across engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, architecture principles, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
•Architect and design scalable, resilient, secure microservices and event-driven systems for high-throughput financial services workloads.
•Lead adoption and governance of engineering standards, patterns, and best practices (API design, domain-driven design, CI/CD), including hands-on code review.
•Own Tech Risk Control remediation work, coordinating with Risk/Compliance to define mitigations, track progress, and ensure audit readiness.
•Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production systems with governance controls, and lead blameless post-mortems and root cause analysis for major incidents.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (MSc/PhD preferred).
•Strong Java experience (Java 8/11/17/21/25) in large-scale production systems.
•Deep experience with Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data).
•Proven expertise with microservices and cloud-native systems (Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh such as Istio/Linkerd).
•Experience with event streaming (Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, ksqlDB) and production-grade governance and risk controls in regulated environments.
