Key Responsibilities

  • •Own proactive communications plans for company launches and announcements, from messaging development through outreach and post-launch measurement.
  • •Drive media relations by responding to inbound inquiries, pitching stories, staffing interviews, and managing reporter relationships across crypto and mainstream press.
  • •Develop content across channels, including messaging frameworks, blog posts, social copy, and web materials aligned to Coinbase’s brand voice.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of communications experience in a PR agency or in-house communications team, including at least 2 years within the crypto or fintech ecosystem.
  • •Proven media relations experience with established relationships in crypto press and success placing proactive stories.
  • •Exceptional writing and editing skills, translating complex crypto and technology topics for mainstream audiences.
  • •Experience supporting executive communications programs, including spokesperson preparation, media briefings, and message development.
  • •Use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
