•Design, build, and evolve core shared services that support the product development ecosystem and enable downstream product teams.
•Lead development of scalable, secure, reusable Java/J2EE-based services used as foundational platforms across products.
•Create architecture and design artifacts through cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Security, SRE, and Architecture.
•Define best practices and standards for Java/J2EE development, API design, security, and service scalability.
•Drive continuous improvements in product quality, platform reliability, and operational excellence, including integration of new platform capabilities.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 7+ years with an Advanced degree, or 4+ years with a PhD; alternatively 13+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
•Experience leading discovery/design sessions and translating requirements into scalable, secure shared-service architectures.
•Strong container-based cloud architecture knowledge, including Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience with cloud migration and multi-cloud strategies.
•Enterprise integration experience with RESTful web services and API-first architectures, including secure API gateway design, authentication/authorization, and security standards.
•Proven technical leadership delivering complex initiatives across distributed systems, with CI/CD-driven architectures, production operations, and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
