Key Responsibilities

  • •Rotate through two Facilities positions over a 2-year period, gaining hands-on experience with real systems and ownership of projects.
  • •Build and support utility systems (including chemicals/gases, electrical systems, water, HVAC, waste, vacuum, and controls) that run 24/7 for the semiconductor wafer fab.
  • •Work with the Facilities Controls and Automation team on PLCs, SCADA systems, field instrumentation, motor drives, and industrial networks to enable safe, reliable automation.
  • •Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets, including equipment installations and coordinating turnkey projects and contract work.
  • •Provide capacity/demand analysis and critical system risk assessments, and develop/maintain maintenance and operational procedures with clear documentation of sequence of operations and design intent.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical Engineering Technology), Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA.
  • •Basic understanding of industrial programming (e.g., structured text, ladder logic, function block diagram).
  • •Basic understanding of data acquisition and measurements (e.g., analog vs digital signals and instrumentation types).
  • •Strong analytical/problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to deliver projects on time.
