Job Summary

Litigate auto, property, subrogation, and general liability cases throughout Texas as part of the Client Legal Services team. Analyze legal issues through extensive research, develop and present defense strategies from inception through trial, and manage discovery, filings, and motions. Coordinate with claims centers, advise internal teams on Texas insurance laws, and participate in mediation and depositions while maintaining accurate case documentation and compliance.

•Analyze complex legal factual issues and conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research.
•Develop and present defense strategies for auto and general liability cases from inception through trial, including discovery, trial preparation, and resolution.
•Prepare pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
•Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel with professional diplomacy.
•Stay current on Texas Insurance Laws and participate in mediation, depositions, arbitration, trials, and settlement discussions.

Salary: USD 121,700 - 152,200

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Texas are required.
•3+ years of experience handling bodily injury claims with proven trial expertise.
•First chair jury trial experience in negligence cases is preferred.
•Ability to handle a high volume of cases and prioritize effectively.
•Legal research and motion practice expertise with positive, collaborative communication.
