Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend and contribute to construction meetings, resolving field conflicts and emerging construction issues.
  • •Serve as a technical liaison between CTDOT, CE&I staff, Designers of Record, and the Contractor, including managing Design Issue Change Orders (DICOs).
  • •Coordinate with Project Controls to support cost and schedule tracking, including review of budget reports and change documentation.
  • •Support ongoing risk identification and mitigation planning, including assessment of impacts to cost contingency and schedule float.
  • •Assist with safety, QA/QC, and reporting by preparing technical memoranda and supporting monthly and quarterly program reports.

Key Requirements

  • •CT Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
  • •10+ years of post-education experience supporting large, complex transportation or rail infrastructure construction projects.
  • •Experience working in an owner’s representative, PMCM, or CM role on major construction programs.
  • •Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, design-build/CMGC delivery, and change management.
