Job Summary

Support the WSP Program Management Team during construction of the Walk Bridge Replacement Program by coordinating design-to-construction interfaces, resolving field issues, and proactively identifying risks. Attend construction and program meetings, liaise with CTDOT, CE&I, Designers of Record, and the Contractor, and assist with cost/schedule/program controls through RFIs, change documentation, and recovery schedule reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend and contribute to construction meetings, resolving field conflicts and emerging construction issues.
•Serve as a technical liaison between CTDOT, CE&I staff, Designers of Record, and the Contractor, including managing Design Issue Change Orders (DICOs).
•Coordinate with Project Controls to support cost and schedule tracking, including review of budget reports and change documentation.
•Support ongoing risk identification and mitigation planning, including assessment of impacts to cost contingency and schedule float.
•Assist with safety, QA/QC, and reporting by preparing technical memoranda and supporting monthly and quarterly program reports.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 134,500 - 187,000 annually

Key Requirements

•CT Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
•10+ years of post-education experience supporting large, complex transportation or rail infrastructure construction projects.
•Experience working in an owner’s representative, PMCM, or CM role on major construction programs.
•Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, design-build/CMGC delivery, and change management.
