Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the safety of assigned employees through active safety leadership, safety communications, and leading required safety meetings.
  • •Support investigation and root-cause analysis for line/equipment stoppages tied to safety risk and implement corrective actions.
  • •Coordinate and check setups, machine operation, initial production, and use of safety equipment to run the manufacturing process effectively.
  • •Plan, organize, and assign work to operators and setup personnel based on production schedules; manage departmental activities.
  • •Prevent nonconforming product from shipping, maintain 5S/housekeeping, and recommend/propose procedure changes to improve quality and productivity.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalency; read, write, and speak English.
  • •5–7 years of manufacturing experience/training in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to sit, bend, twist, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs; willing to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • •Proficient computer knowledge (Word, Excel) and ability to use manufacturing/support systems such as JDE, QSI, and WebEFF.
  • •Strong communication skills and past experience/proven ability in the specified disciplines (including negative drug screen results).
