Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, strengthen, and expand core Ads data products that scale Netflix’s ads business by integrating data elements from multiple sources.
  • •Fully own critical portions of Ads data products: model tables and develop large-scale data processing solutions to deliver timely, high-quality data.
  • •Partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to create data products that serve analysis, ML, and reporting needs.
  • •Develop best practices for governance of data sets with sensitive information, including privacy considerations.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical expertise working with data at scale, including advertising data experience (preferred) and privacy-aware building.
  • •Hands-on experience building batch or streaming production data pipelines using distributed processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, or Hive/Hadoop.
  • •Knowledge of data modeling and establishing data architecture across multiple systems.
  • •Proficiency with SQL plus at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java for data exploration and pipeline development.
  • •Ability to create clean, understandable code and thrive in ambiguity while partnering with the business to deliver data quality and impact.
