Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections during the turn-in process and identify equipment deficiencies.
  • •Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and execute preventive and corrective maintenance per Army TMs.
  • •Repair and adjust major systems including engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems; service MHE such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders.
  • •Maintain required documentation using Army-approved forms/systems and update equipment condition codes and disposition records.
  • •Follow OSHA, Army, and company safety standards, including PPE use and HAZMAT handling/storage/disposal requirements, and coordinate with supply staff during turn-in events.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience with tactical vehicles, combat systems, or material handling equipment (MHE) strongly preferred.
  • •Proficiency diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret Army TMs, schematics, and technical drawings, including performing PMCS.
  • •Ability to travel within the United States up to 75% and successfully pass background check and drug testing.
