•Understand customer challenges and provide product demonstrations to align solutions with customer needs
•Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, partners and Okta colleagues
•Plan and deliver Proof Of Concepts for complex use cases in collaboration with other Okta engineering teams
•Provide feedback to product management about enhancements that address customer needs and add value

Key Requirements

•5+ years pre-sales engineering experience selling SaaS products
•Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, preferably with a whiteboard
•Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (e.g., OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
•Hands-on development experience across web, mobile, or backend stacks (JavaScript/HTML frontend; iOS/Android; Java/C#/Node.js/Python/PHP/Ruby)
•Understanding of core security concerns (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
