Job Summary

Ensure the reliability and availability of Akamai’s critical security products by improving monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation. Build and develop tooling for observability and automated remediation, partnering across support, operations, and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex incidents. Work with modern infrastructure and deployment technologies including Kubernetes, GitOps via ArgoCD, Kafka, ClickHouse, and third-party clouds such as AWS, Azure, and Linode, including on-call rotations.

Key Requirements

•2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
•Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and observability strategies for complex software products.
•Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based application deployments and Kubernetes application delivery workflows.
•Create and manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions for automation, build, test, and deployment pipelines.
•Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and third-party clouds (AWS, Azure, Linode, etc.) plus Linux-based infrastructure (Bash/Python).
