Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate snack packaging machinery by reading the production schedule and maintaining continuous, efficient operation.
  • •Monitor codes, dates, prices, and ensure packaging materials are available; adjust machine micro logic to maintain low waste.
  • •Plan and perform product changeovers; adjust machines to ensure proper seals, standard speeds, and correct film/bag cutoff.
  • •Monitor weights and product appearance, account for product run-off, and sort/rework good product as required.
  • •Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas, report maintenance problems, follow safety and hygiene procedures, and support leadership/backup coordination when applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to safely lift and move 40+ lbs regularly and occasionally lift/move more than 50+ lbs with mechanical or peer assistance.
  • •Ability to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, loud noise, and occasional fumes/airborne particles or chemicals.
  • •Understand and demonstrate skills required to operate packaging equipment, including setups, changeovers, sanitation cleanup, and shutdown.
