Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage hospital facilities, utilities, and engineering services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gases, generators, fire protection, elevators, and infrastructure).
  • •Develop and execute preventive/corrective maintenance programs and ensure uninterrupted operation of critical healthcare utilities.
  • •Lead construction and renovation/fit-out projects, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities while managing budgets, timelines, and risks.
  • •Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory, safety (fire and life safety testing/inspections), and accreditation requirements.
  • •Supervise facilities and maintenance staff; manage vendors/contractors, service level agreements, and asset replacement and lifecycle plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • •Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • •Professional certifications preferred: CFM; PMP; NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health & safety certification.
  • •10+ years of facilities management experience.
  • •3-5 years of experience in a healthcare/hospital/rehabilitation/long-term care environment, including healthcare construction/renovation projects.
