Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform extensive heavy bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding/stapling, heavy metal pulling/straightening/shrinking, and stud welding.
  • •Repair roof and rocker panels and complete large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair.
  • •Train other autobody technicians.
  • •Use state-of-the-art tools in Carvana inspection centers to support reconditioning workflows.
  • •Work mandatory overtime based on business needs when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
  • •Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
  • •At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license; some roles may require an MVR check.
  • •Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment, including exposure to excessive weather conditions.
  • •Ability to use safety equipment (e.g., face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and protective garments).
