Job Summary

Support People Inc Food Studios recipe testers and developers with recipe development, nutritional analysis, grocery shopping, taste tests, and on-site video production support. You’ll manage market orders and inventory, develop and test recipes across print and digital brands, deliver fully annotated recipes with nutritional and photo deliverables, and assist with photo shoots and expense reporting. This is a fully onsite role in Birmingham, Alabama.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage market orders and grocery shopping; stock shared pantries and cold storage areas with the Test Kitchen Coordinator.
•Develop, test, and prepare recipes while writing engaging hooks, scripts, and on-camera dialogue for hosted social video content.
•Develop and test recipes across People Inc. print and digital brands; deliver fully annotated recipes including content deliverables, nutritional analysis, and photos.
•Consult on photo shoots to ensure food and recipes are executed as intended; step in as a food styling assistant when needed.
•File expense reports for accounting purposes.

Key Requirements

•B.S. or B.A. with a culinary degree, or extensive professional cooking experience.
•Proficient with recipes: writing according to style and able to troubleshoot a recipe by reading it.
•Strong knowledge of food, including a range of cuisines, techniques, and equipment.
•Social media savvy and excited about the digital space.
•Highly organized team player who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
