Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform assembly and painting operations on padmount switchgear units, painting medium to large electrical switchgear and steel/aluminum enclosures and accessories.
  • •Maintain painting equipment/system through general and preventative maintenance on paint guns, hooks, regulators, reciprocators, and hydraulic units.
  • •Monitor and troubleshoot line activities and application procedures to ensure process specifications are followed, including setting fluids and air pressures and maintaining 2-millimeter dry film thickness.
  • •Be responsible for own work with minimal supervision and keep the work area clean while performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • •Operate a forklift as necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial spray painting systems and/or completion of a one-year post-high school course in industrial spray painting or coating applications.
  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • •No relocation benefit is being offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered.
  • •Preferred: experience reading drawings/blueprints/specifications and/or at least 1 year working in a manufacturing environment.
