Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and drive systems in the plant, including reading schematics, installing/replacing conduit, and performing basic electrical work. Support project work that may involve welding, hydraulics, power transmissions, pneumatics, fabrication, pipe fitting, rigging, and mechanical layout/plumbing. Operate electrical and pneumatic tools and heavy equipment (cranes and lifts), follow OSHA/NEC and plant safety procedures, and document work clearly.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical and drive systems (110/240/480V AC motors and DC drives), including installing/replacing conduit.
•Read schematics, estimate/design basic electrical systems, and calculate wire/pipe sizes and pipe run alignment.
•Perform and support project work as needed, including welding, cutting, equipment removal/installation, and structural fabrication.
•Use electrical and pneumatic power tools and equipment, including operation of cranes and lifts, and manage rendering equipment setup for conveyors, pumps, cookers, hydrolyzers, presses, steam traps, ramps, catwalks, and piping.
•Follow OSHA, NEC, and plant safety policies/procedures; work required shifts and complete documentation and communication tasks as assigned.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•1+ year of accumulative electrical or industrial maintenance or millwright experience, with a working knowledge of OSHA and NEC codes and plant safety policies/procedures.
•Must be able to read and work from electrical schematics and estimate/design basic electrical systems.
•Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems in the plant, including installing/replacing conduit.
•Must be able to perform basic electrical work using tools such as a digital multi-meter and work with 3-phase motors and single-phase terminations.
•Must have rigging experience/certifications and be able to lift 60+ lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and document information.
