Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive design and delivery of the Forge Cognition edge computing initiative and own edge architecture patterns for distributed, resource-constrained, disconnected environments.
  • •Architect and operationalize workloads on Google Distributed Cloud (edge and/or hosted as needed).
  • •Design, build, and scale Kubernetes-based deployments for edge and cloud across Azure, GCP, and Alibaba.
  • •Create Ansible-based automation for provisioning, configuration management, and fleet operations across distributed edge nodes.
  • •Lead cloud & hybrid architecture for scalability and resilience, covering security and observability, and mentor engineers while contributing to architecture reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as an Edge/Cloud Architect/Developer designing systems for distributed/edge computing environments.
  • •Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible (playbooks, roles, automation at scale).
  • •Expert-level Python development skills.
  • •Deep, production-grade experience with Kubernetes (cluster design, operators, networking, security, troubleshooting).
  • •Hands-on experience with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) or comparable distributed cloud/edge platforms.
