Job Summary

Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of Commonwealth-provided Government Furnished Material (GFM) items and services to support the Hunter Class Frigate Program. Serve as the key interface between the Commonwealth of Australia, industry partners, and internal stakeholders—tracking status, governance, risks, and integration requirements across the program lifecycle. Drive stakeholder engagement and data-driven governance, manage contracts/commercial arrangements, and ensure rapid issue identification and resolution to meet schedule and obligations.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive planning, coordination, and delivery of Government Furnished (GF) program dependencies across information, data, equipment, facilities, and services.
•Act as the key interface between the Commonwealth of Australia, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
•Develop and maintain governance, reporting, and performance metrics to provide visibility of GFM status and delivery risks.
•Identify, prioritise, and resolve issues to ensure seamless integration and rapid decision-making.
•Manage contracts and commercial arrangements and establish robust, data-driven governance frameworks up to executive level.

Key Requirements

•Exceptional stakeholder and communication skills to influence and align diverse audiences.
•Self-driven, proactive delivery approach with a track record of independently identifying issues and driving them to resolution.
•Strong grounding in project management principles with practical, applied experience valued.
•Commercially astute background with experience or exposure to contracts and commercial management.
•Technical or Engineering background desirable, with ambition to grow further into project management.
