Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools in line with contract, corporate guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
  • •Investigate claims by reviewing facts of loss and damage, communicating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third parties/vendors, and ensuring supporting documentation is accurate.
  • •Use advanced P&C knowledge to verify compliance with laws, regulations, and policy provisions, including checking for fraud indicators and subrogation opportunities.
  • •Maintain accurate, up-to-date claim file documentation and manage productivity through timely follow-ups and proper mapping of repair plans and timelines.
  • •Review additional damages from repair facilities to complete supplements or triage to field inspection, and support escalated/disputed claims as a subject matter expert.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process, and claim appraisal process and procedures.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days (3 attempts).
