Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze physical site and survey data (including GIS, blueprints, subsurface utility info, and geotechnical data) to support project development.
  • •Assist with engineering transmission projects up to 765kV and support initial project execution layout.
  • •Maintain project budget and schedule and facilitate adherence to WSP QA/QC procedures.
  • •Develop transmission line design expertise including structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, structure loading, and construction specifications/estimates.
  • •Generate accurate project documentation using electronic systems and drawings, and travel to field locations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering).

  • •Familiarity with process and concepts for design/build.
  • •Familiarity with relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
