Key Responsibilities

  • •Support PMs and estimators with administrative duties and AP/AR support.
  • •Assist with MDOT/owner requirements and compliance processes.
  • •Oversee subcontractor documentation, including COI tracking and subcontractor file updates.
  • •Order and manage bid bonds, payment/performance bonds, surety releases, and prepare MDOT bond packages.
  • •Coordinate change orders and supplemental agreements with surety and maintain accurate records for service agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or office management role handling AP/AR, contracts, insurance, and customer relations in the construction industry (preferred but not required).
  • •Review contractual documents and performance requirements to ensure adherence to company policy, government/customer specifications, and legal requirements.
  • •Oversee subcontractor documentation and compliance, including tracking COI expirations and updating subcontractor files.
  • •Order and manage surety/bond documentation and related MDOT packages, including bid bonds, payment/performance bonds, and miscellaneous bonds.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office 2007 or greater, with ability to perform basic formulas in Excel (Viewpoint experience is a plus).
