Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical project supervision and leadership for HV/EHV electrical substation projects, ensuring safety, quality (QA/QC), schedule, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • •Oversee project financials and execution, including budgets, labor hours, cost tracking, risk management, QA/QC, and managing utility/EPC contractual obligations.
  • •Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities from startup and planning through detailed engineering coordination, procurement support, construction management, outage planning, testing, commissioning, energization, reporting, and closeout.
  • •Develop project proposals and planning artifacts, including cost estimates, scopes of work, WBS and cost-loaded schedules, Project Initiation/Setup documentation (PMP, QP, PSP, Communications Plan), and participate in kick-off meetings.
  • •Coordinate change management and claims, monitor earned value and cost performance with project accounting, manage margin analysis and risk registers, and escalate site Health & Safety or significant client issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power Systems, Civil), Engineering Technology, Science, or related field, or equivalent A/E/C or power delivery experience.
  • •7–10 years of progressive post-education experience in a project management role delivering HV/EHV electrical substation, T&D, or utility-scale power delivery projects.
  • •Strong understanding of the A/E/C project delivery lifecycle across substation engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and energization.
  • •Analytical, organizational, and business acumen to manage schedule, cost, and risk impacts on complex HV/EHV substation projects.
  • •Proficiency with technical writing and PM tools, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint), plus the ability to support safety compliance and QA/QC processes.
