Job Summary

Manage end-to-end chargeback operations for card issuing and acquiring, handling dispute resolution, copy requests, and fraud-related reporting. Execute FLD/TC-40 reporting, fee recovery, temporary credits, and fund settlements with strong accuracy and control. Monitor excessive chargebacks, reconcile suspense accounts, and support compliance and pre-arbitration documentation for Visa/Mastercard timelines. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to meet SLAs and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage end-to-end chargeback operations, including copy requests, disputes, fraud reporting, pre-arbitration, and compliance per Visa/Mastercard regulations.
•Monitor incoming chargebacks, ensure timely processing, and post debits to merchant accounts with required approvals.
•Conduct monthly monitoring of excessive chargebacks, highlighting risks in line with scheme regulations.
•Process temporary credits accurately in the card system and reconcile chargeback suspense accounts while following up on outstanding entries.
•Generate and analyze chargeback, copy request, and fraud reports; identify fraudulent transactions and submit chargeback/compliance documentation within timelines.

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent qualification.
•At least 2 years of experience in chargeback in card operations.
•Thorough understanding of Visa International and MasterCard International operating/UAE switch regulations for acquiring and issuing chargebacks.
•Ability to validate customer requests for accuracy before processing transactions or system updates.
•Knowledge of SAFE/TC40 and related scheme reporting requirements for compliance.
